Group of 9 dined for a Saturday brunch. Outstanding customer service. Fast and accurate. Food was delicious. Great appetizer options so we ordered multiple items and shared. Enjoyed their cocktails and desserts.
I visited All Set last Saturday with a group of my girls for our annual New Year's gathering and I must say the food was VERY good! We ordered a bunch of appetizers as well as entrees. Everything was good but what stood out the most was the SMOKED WINGS and SKILLET CORNBREAD! Those are definitely a must try! The french toast was delicious as well! It's not very convenient for me to get to (I'm in VA) but it's probably a good thing because I would be there quite often lol. The service was amazing as well (which is so rare these days) Highly recommend. 10/10.
Love their all day happy hour on Mondays. Enjoy the shrimp cocktail, calamari, and their ceaser. Some cocktails are $7, which is a great HH deal in my opinion. The happy hour starts at 3Pm so when I first arrived around 3 it was quite empty but the ambiance is casual and the space gets a little more crowded with time, overall a solid spot for cheap/ reasonable happy hour food and drinks in downtown silver spring
First off, I thought this place would be too packed for us to sit, but they found a spot for us without reservations. I really appreciated the all night happy hour and the waiter that was helping us was super friendly and helpful with ordering. The food was amazing and I highly recommend the spot if you're ever in Silver Spring!
We Went at 4:20pm & the establishment was almost empty with maybe 2 tables and 2 people at the bar. *bartender greeted us at the bar promptly and was very engaging and pleasant. He spent some time recommending popular drinks. I went with the "Pretty in Pink" and it was light, sweet & bubbly. *Decor in the establishment is cute, elegant, nautical. * Well fleet oysters were Ordered at 4:29 and we received them in under 10 minutes. They were delightful. *Salmon Jerk Skewers were a recommendation from our bartender (he raved about most of the food & his recommendations were spot on). *Teeniest HH lobster portion on earth for $18. I understand that happy hour portions are smaller but I kid you not this was a portion that equaled Maybe a tablespoon. Was it delicious? It was incredible tasting but had I known I was getting less than a Costco sample size on an $18 roll I would not have ordered that. I hope management can take this into account because what in the world!! That was messed up. Our Bartender let us know that ordering the full size one has a better portion. He was wonderful so if I could give the review on service it would be 5/5 but I am knocking a star down for the crazy portion size. This is not a fine dining establishment. *Old bay wings were perfect! *things really started picking up around 6 something and the bar became packed with people looking for bar seats. The community there was very friendly and vibes were great. *I am impressed with having happy hour all night on Mondays and we will definitely return.
A little pricey but very nice for a treat when going out. Went for a meeting, was pleasantly surprised to learn that this is a women owned business. The service was great and the food was delicious - try the chickpea fries and the chicken breast, both are very flavorful. The place is wheelchair accessible. They have a happy hour with generous hours - but again, a wee bit pricey (but again, not totally unreasonable for the good food and service.
**Service:** I visited All Set Seafood with two friends, and despite the website suggesting a reservation, we walked in without any issues. I live nearby and have noticed it's rarely more than 50% full, so walking in should generally be fine. We were seated quickly and attended to promptly. Our server was a bit hands-off, not checking on us much during the meal, but the other waitstaff frequently offered us water, which was appreciated. **Taste:** The menu is somewhat limited but offers everything you might need for a satisfying seafood meal. We initially wanted mussels, but they were out, so we started with oysters instead. They were fresh and paired well with the sauces provided. For the main course, we ordered the lobster roll with sweet potato fries, Pan Seared Trout Crab Meunière, and the seafood pasta. All the dishes came out within 10 minutes and were flavorful with manageable portions. The prices are reasonable for seafood, though it's not the cheapest option. **Ambiance:** All Set Seafood has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends. The restaurant is not usually crowded, so it's easy to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed or cramped. The environment is perfect for those who want a low-key dining experience with quality seafood. **Recommendation:** Overall, All Set Seafood is a solid choice for a seafood meal with friends. The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back. While the service could be a bit more attentive, the quality of the food and drinks makes up for it. I've already returned with a friend, so it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for seafood.
I visited All Set with a large group on a Saturday night and I am pleased to report that we all enjoyed the visit a lot. We were seated a few minutes before happy hour ended (normally daily from 3-6, all night Monday) and ordered a few drinks. The happy hour menu says its only for the bar area, but our waiter invited us to order from it anyway. This was a pleasant surprise and a good way to kickoff the meal. I tried the Basil Gin Rickey ($9) and Whiskey Sour ($8) and both were very good. For appetizers, we had the 1/2 lb Fried Shrimp ($19, 8 pieces), Sriracha Cheddar Biscuits ($14, four biscuits), and Chickpea Fries ($14, 9 large fries). All of the apps were delicious. The shrimp were large, had no shells on them, had a very nice, crispy fry, and a little seasoning so the dipping sauce and lemon wasn't necessary. The biscuits were large and had a bit of a spicy kick. We liked the berry sauce that came with them. I was wary of the chickpea fries but they were also great -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and came with two dipping sauces. The fries were a bit similar to the biscuits in that they were both kind of bready, so I probably wouldn't get them together again, but they were both worthwhile. Entrees were also a hit. I tried the Lobster Roll ($34 w/ fries) and Texas Brisket ($34, 1/2 lb served with carrots and mashed potatoes). The lobster roll was a good size and had noticeable chunks of claw meat (the best) along with crispy, lightly seasoned fries. The brisket was also tasty, although a bit overshadowed by the sauce, carrots, and potatoes. I would have preferred the brisket to stand on its own a bit more to really appreciate it. The "Bleu Cheese Mashed Potatoes" didn't particularly taste like blue cheese to me, which was just fine as someone who hates it. Others at the table got entrees like the Fish and Chips ($25) and Branzino ($41, whole fish) which also got high marks. Our waiter was good and very friendly. The restaurant was lively but not packed. It was a little noisy and nearly impossible to talk down the length of the table, which was ok but not ideal. The happy hour menu is solid with both food and drink at good prices. But the regular drink menu is too expensive, especially the beer and cocktails. The beer menu is pretty lame with only two local beers (both Atlas) and charging $8 for Corona or $9.5 for Atlas is robbery. Cocktails are also too high at $15. Wine is $12-$13 a glass and I would like to see cocktails at that price point.
